Integrating a fuel cell with a heat pump in automobiles

Heat pump technology is not new and has been used in residential heating and cooling systems for many years. However, its use in automotive refrigeration equipment is gaining more and more attention, especially in electric vehicles (EVs). Heat pumps can provide a more stable and faster heating solution, unlike traditional PTC (positive temperature coefficient) water heating systems, which are slow to heat up and inefficient. Heat pumps are becoming a must-have feature in modern vehicles because they can provide heat even in extreme winter conditions (the minimum operating temperature is -30°C while providing a comfortable 25°C heat to the cabin).
